Akuffo Addo's Government as the Most Insensitive Towards Teaching service

*INSENSITIVITY OF THE AKUFFO ADDO LED GOVERNMENT EXPOSED AT THE JUST ENDED TRAINING ON THE NEW CURRICULUM*

The only Government which has prioritized access and quality education to Ghanaians is  H.E John Dramani Mahama led government. Education plays a vital role in the life of every single Ghanaian and for that matter, politicians must equally prioritize quality education as  topmost need on their scale of preference.

The NPP Government led by H.E Nana Akuffo Addo did little in the education sector and sees no need to develop the human resources that will inure to quality education in Ghana.

The recent case of New Curriculum Training for teachers across the country is a classical example.

The Ghana Education Service (GES) and the National Council for Curriculum Assessment (NaCCA) recently launched the new curriculum which would be used in Ghanaians schools in the 2019/2020 academic year.

The new curriculum is to cover  Kindergarten 1 to Primary 6 and therefore there was the need for the key implementors of the said curriculum to undergo a training.

Circuit supervisors, head teachers and teachers in the public basic schools were therefore called for training on the new curriculum.

It must be  noted that, all setbacks and inconveniences associated with the training session for teachers will eventually affect the essential knowledge and skills teachers are expected to acquire after the training session.

This training could have been a good opportunity for government to help teachers for the first time to deliver when the new syllabus is rolled out but unfortunately, the government has decided to poorly organize a training session for the implementors and hence a defeat on the high impacts and expectations for which  the new curriculum is to be rolled out.

Challenges

*Poor quality of food*
Concerns have been raised by a section of the teachers concerning the quality of food being given to them and hence some level of acrimony among them.Teachers who were to be fed with GHC 8.00 per training ended up been fed with GHC 5.00 or less, what a wicked Government!

*Allowance*
Although the Education Minister, Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh was categorical on GHC 140.00 to be paid to teachers undergoing the said training, but eventually the amount reduced to GHC 50.00 and even in the case of some Districts, nothing was given to the teachers with an excuse of the money not been credited into an account.

What a cruel treatment meted out  to teachers?
Some teachers in some districts are expected to take their GHC 50.00 on Tuesday.
Teachers are beacon of knowledge and must therefore be accorded the needed respect.

If the NPP Government can spend a whopping amount of 6.7 million dollars only on  their supporters in the AFCON 2019 and not ready to spend much on training of teachers towards the new curriculum, it tells you the nature of the insensitivity of our leaders steering the affairs of the country.

The president has clearly demonstrated that, Ghana Education Service and for that matter teaching service are nothing under his leadership as the president of the 4th Republic.

Eid -Adha Wishes to All Muslims in Ghana

*Happy Eid al-Adha Celebration to all Muslims*

Eid al-Adha is a festival of  sacrifice. It's one of the most important event in the Islamic calendar and is observed around the world.

Eid al- Adha marks the end of Hajj(a pilgrimage to Mecca) and commemorates the prophet Ibrahim.

It's believed that, prophet Ibrahim was tested on his obedience to Allah(God) by being commanded to sacrifice his dearest son.

Prophet Ibrahim was willing to obey Allah, and began to prepare his son for sacrifice.

During the preparation, prophet Ibrahim and his family were tempted by the devil , who tried to persuade them to ignore God's command but prophet Ibrahim didn't listen and threw stones at the Devil to drive him away.

When the moment came to sacrifice his son, Ibrahim was astonished to see that, he had been replaced by a lamb.

In preparing to lay down boss son's life, prophet Ibrahim had proven that, he was willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for God.He had passed God's test and his son was spared.

Muslims across the world sacrifice lamb during this celebration after they had gathered to pray .Friends and family members may exchange gifts and new clothes.

The meat from this sacrificed animals is divided into three(3) parts with one part being given to the needy, one part given to the relatives and one part kept at home.

During this time, Muslims wear their best clothes and perform special Eid prayers.

May i congratulate all muslims as they celebrate this special festival.
May Allah flood your life with happiness on this occasion, your heart with love, your soul with spiritual , your mind with wisdom, wishing you a very Happy Eid.

May Allah's blessings be with you today and always,Eid ul-Adha Mubarak

A PARADIGM SHIFT IN OTI REGIONAL COMMUNICATION.

*ACCURATE AND TIMELY BOUND COMMUNICATION IS A NON NEGOTIABLE RECIPE IN INFORMATION DISSEMINATION- MOBARAK KARIM*

Information can only be said to achieve its purpose if  it is premised on *undisputed accuracy* and having realized that party communication is a powerful tool to make and unmake our political fortunes, I am committed to ensuring that, party communication is done with high accuracy.

There is bound to be disaffection for the party if information disseminated and put in public domain turns out to be full of half-truth.

A thorough research on issues of national interest and linking it to prevailing condition in our region is the only mechanism available to address this shortcoming in party communication.
Circumstances in our geographical zones differs and it is proper to decode what transpires in other jurisdictions and  have been topical in the public domain to the realities affecting the lives of our people in the Oti Region.

An inhabitant of Oti Region might not necessarily benefit from the construction of a Community Day School in Dome Kwabenya  because it doesn't address his/her education needs as compared to the Nkwanta Community Day school hence as a methodological and critical communicator who puts the audience first must draw a sharp link between the conditions prevailing in other jurisdictions as highlighted in the media and the prevailing conditions in our region. This is the best way to engage the electorates on their plights and expectations.

I humbly appeal to all delegates to make their votes count in my favor.

New Phase Of Communication in Focus

*MOBARAK KARIM (DIPLOMATIC TO STRENGTHEN THE GRASSROOT THROUGH COMMUNICATION*

The grassroot of the NDC remains the core base of the party from ages.
The only way we can unmake the NPP in 2020 is to empower the grassroots with relevant, timely and reliable information in relation to issues of national interest and our manifesto.

I am committed to ensuring our core base is not sidelined in dispensation of party information. The opponent is always bent on misinforming the electorates on governance and that is one of the strategies they adopted to woo the electorates in 2016.

We can only recapture power if we include the core base (grassroots) in the dissemination of party communication by making them understand the policies enshrined in our manifesto and the benefits thereon to their welfare and the country at large.

Under my tenure, the grassroot shall be made a vessel of communication.

I humbly appeal to all delegates to vote for me to enhance the empowerment of the grassroot through communication.

NPP Using Intimidation Tactics to Cause Fear and Panic

*MOBARAK AS OTI REGIONAL COMM.OFFICER*

Wednesday, June
12, 2019

*Interrogation of Chairman Ofosu Ampofo is Useless and Unfounded*

The NPP upon failing to fulfill their numerous promises has resorted to cause fear and panic within the largest opposition party NDC.

The National Chairman of the biggest opposition party , Hon.Ofosu Ampofo is firm and unshakable who has determined to take the party back to power in 2020.

The NPP haven't realized  the determination of  Chairman Ofosu Ampofo to bring the NDC back to power, is now using an intimidation tactics so as to distabilize the effort of this Chairman.

The consistent invitation of Chairman Ofosu Ampofo to both the CID and the BNI heaquarters is a clear intimidation by the NPP Government so as to divert attention from the hardship Ghanaians are going through.

The president and the NPP are aware that, they have outlived their usefulness as far as Governance is concerned . Ghanaians have woefully regretted voting for president Akuffo Addo and the NPP.

In conclusion, the NDC as a largest opposition party and the better alternative for governance in 2020 and beyond, must hurriedly resist any attempt by the NPP to cause fear and panic within the ranks and file of the party especially within the National Officers.

The only surest to oppressors rule is to be fearless and courageous in fighting them Boot 4 Boot

Vote Mobarak Karim As Oti Regional Communication Officer

*MOBARAK AS OTI REGIONAL COMM.OFFICER*

Wednesday, 12 June 2019

*With Mubarak Karim (Diplomatic) leading the COMMUNICATION FRONT (Life Blood) of the NDC in the Oti Region, NDC is bound to benefit from the Contemporary politics evolving around the world of politics*

Contemporary politics in the world today is taking shape successfully following the participation of young, promising and talented politicians across the globe.

I have not regretted joining the NDC a bit. The NDC fraternity is known for her quest to harness youthful potentials to take up responsible roles for the party in the near future and this undoubtedly continue to make the party attractive to youth all over Ghana.

No wonder the NDC in 2008 rode grandly on the output of young ones like  Hon. Samuel Okudjeto, Hon. Felix Ofosu Kwakye, Hon. Haruna Idrisu, Hon. Fiifi Kwetey, Hon. Victoria Hammah and many others in collaboration with the matured experienced ones to win power back in 2008 when  all hopes were lost. Today, those young energetic characters with the inclusion of new young ones and Comrade *Mubarak Karim (Diplomatic)* having  collaboration from the matured experience ones have again activated that level of motivation with the party at heart without inducement working tirelessly to see NDC bounce back to power.

*Mubarak Karim (Diplomatic)* rising to the Oti Regional Communication outfit can only be equated to   "youth activism" _so far as he is ready to learn from the experience hands when given the nod_.

Mind you, Emmanuel Macron of France, Jury Ratas of Estonia, Jacinda Arden of New Zealand including our own H.E. John Mahama proves many wrong when they took the helm  of affairs of their respective economies because the world  believes in them.

The people of Oti Region should look no further but rather opt for *Mubarak Karim (Diplomatic)* to lead the *Communication Outifit* of the Region with all-inclusive policy and timely dissemination of information.

Endorsement of Mobarak Karim as Oti Regional Communication Officer

For Immediate Release:

*LUQMAN DAWOOD ENDORSES THE CANDIDATURE OF MOBARAK KARIM (DIPLOMATIC) - OTI REGION NDC COMMUNICATION OFFICER HOPEFUL*

Surely, NDC will emerge victorious in the 2020 elections only if we entrust the administrative powers of the party in the hands of reliable, tried and proven, loyal and detailed personalities.

My evaluation of Mobarak Karim's exposure in the world of politics have left no doubt in mind that, he is set to deliver when given the mandate by delegates. It is worthy to note that, he is the first aspirant to have put together a practicable manifesto to woo the delegates in the Oti Region. This shows how ready he is to serve the masses.
He has demonstrated more than enough that, he is a grassroot man with vision to relegate the ruling government to the background. His visibility on the ground and on the media landscape is a known secret.

It is on this ground I officially endorse the candidature of Mobarak Karim (Diplomatic) as the best candidate to occupy the NDC Communication Officer position for Oti Region.
I hereby call on all delegates to look no further but vote for Mobarak Karim.

Thank you.

NDC Activist

I will Protect and Defend the Party at All Times

*I will Uphold the Principle of Party First*

I always emphasis the need for every leader to be fair and firm.
Am a self made individual who has passed through the stages of leadership across all levels.

When i was a TEIN president of St.Francis College of Education (FRANCO), i was objective and independent minded in discharging my responsibilities as president.

I always oppose any development that does not serve the interest of the student body.

I promise to defend and protect the party when given the nod as Communication Officer for Oti Region.

I picked the nomination form and now contesting because i believe in myself as an individual who has the abilities and capabilities to man the office of the Communication

I will not serve any individuals interest than the part's interest because that is the surest way to a collective Victory in 2020.

Delegates of Oti, am an individual who is tested, tried and confirmed as a credible and hard-working Comrade to work with you all towards 2020 Victory

Decentralizing Information to the Grassroots was Demonstrated in my Campaign Process

*I Visited Delegates in their Respective Homes to Campaign*

The Oti Region as Newly created deserves hard-working, committed and dedicated leadership.

Communication Officer must be readily available to propagate the policies of the party to the grassroots and at the same time expose the incompetence of the ruling NPP Government.

In order to demonstrate my commitment to Decentralizing information to the grassroots as my motto depicts, i visited every single delegates in their respective houses to campaign.

I could have visited radio stations, information centres and TV stations to campaign but decided to visit delegates in their homes so as to sell my message to them because we all  know that, elections are won at the grassroots.

Delegates across the eight (8) Constituencies in Oti Enclaves were visited and am optimistic of a onetouch Victory.

H.E the late former president, John Evans Atta Mills adopted door to door Campaign as a flagbearer in 2008 elections and won the incumbent NPP. This clearly empahsis the need to get connected to the grassroots at all times.

Communication under my leadership shall embrace varied opinion from the grassroots because the party's fundamental lies within the grassroots.

Mobarak Karim Diplomatic shall constantly connect with you the grassroots so as to equip you with the necessary information you need to battle the NPP both on radio and within our information outlets.

The coming election is about someone who has demonstrated beyond doubt that, he is capable to man the Communication Department of Oti as newly created region.

This election is about effective strategies to be adopted by the communication team in Oti so as to project the good works of the party to the Ghanaians.

This election is about voting for the party's Victory in 2020 and not voting for personality.

This election is about someone who has independently picked a nomination form to contest believing in his abilities to do the job but  not about someone who was forced to because of someone's interest.

In conclusion, i appreciate all the concerns you have given me as i visit you in your homes, farms and workplaces

I thank all of you who have bought into my vision and are willing to vote for me towards a resounding Victory on 16th June.

*VISION STATEMENT OF MOBARAK KARIM (DIPLOMATIC)*
*PREAMBLE*.

Having considered party communication as the *life blood* to the existence and Victory of the NDC in 2020 and beyond, I present myself to the delegates of the upcoming Oti Regional Executive Conference to be elected as the Regional Communication Officer to make communication more accessible, revealing and accurate to the electorates in the newly created region in collaboration with Constituency Executives and the grassroot captains at the branch level.
I hereby present to you my vision statements upon which am vying for this sensitive position.

*1. RETOOLING OF CONSTITUENCY COMMUNICATION OFFICERS*.
(a) Provide Communication officers and their respective teams the needed logistics that can help them do in- depth
Research on issues.

(b) In order to make party communication in the Oti Region more competitive with zeal and party interest, my outfit shall institute an imprest system to cater for the miscellaneous expenses of communication officers who represent the party on radio for newspaper review in the various constituencies to give out their maximum best.

*2. MASS MEDIA COMMUNICATION*

Undoubtedly, we live in a world shaped and persistently remade through modern communication channels to keep receivers passionate and updated on happenings around them.
It's on this backdrop, I shall

(a) work hand in hand with media/ broadcasting houses in the region to maintain a strong link between them and the party.

(b) purchase airtime on radio (at least one hour once in a week) for each constituency to educate the electorates on the party manifesto and this would be dubbed *"NDC Manifesto Digest"*.
In order to make this vision successful and achieve the expected result, I shall in consultation with the Regional Communication Team (made up of experts from sensitive disciplines of the economy) organize symposiums for Communicators who would handle this aspect of communication to fully comprehend the content of the Manifesto.

(c) Constitute *a Standby Bureau of Responsive Regional Communication* that would be responsible for analysing _Newspaper Banner Headlines_ to put up a more accurate, matured and all-encompassing detailed *Speaking Points*

(d) in consultation with the Constituency Communication Officers, we shall coordinate, regularize and empower the activities of our serial callers to make their inputs more relevant, accurate and qualitative.
To achieve this, I shall empower Constituency Communication Officers with the needed logistics for communication and facilitate their periodic training/ meeting sessions with the serial callers.

*3. CAPACITY BUILDING*

Communication under my leadership shall recruit and train new breed of communicators with special consideration for women within the various constituencies who have the potentials based on the recommendation from Constituency Executive.

(b) Organize periodic training sessions for constituency communication officers and Constituency Communication Team Members to improve performance in presentations, strengthen their communication skills and to adjust our strategies when it is necessary.

*4. PRESS CONFERENCES/ RELEASES*

"At the heart of communication is the moment of connection between communicator and audience". To pull passion of electorates to the party, I shall in collaboration with the Regional Communication Team:

(a) organise series of press conferences to
*-* establish visibility for the party
*-* proffer our stand on pressing issues in the region
*-* expose the maladministration of the ruling government in the region on sectoral basis
*-* proffer solutions to challenges facing the region per the party manifesto

(b) constitute teams made up of professionals from all disciplines of the Economy ( i.e. Economic and Finance, Education, Health, Agriculture, Transport etc. ) to identify pressing issues in their fields that are affecting the lives of the inhabitant of the region and organize a press conference based on their findings.
This I believe would make our public pronouncements through press conferences/ releases very rich with facts and figures.

*5. GRASSROOTS PARTICIPATION*
(a) Door to door  campaign strategy of reaching out to first time voters. This can be done in consultation with the Constituency Executives and total inclusion of Branch Executives responsible for the branches since they are in better position to identify First Time Voters in their territories.
By so doing, we are empowering the branches and the grassroots of the party.

(b) shall embark on activities to educate voters about the party's policies that affect their lives directly through door to door outreach programs and town hall meetings.

*6. BRIDGING THE COMMUNICATION GAP BETWEEN THE PARTY AND THE BUSINESS WORLD*

In consultation with the leadership of the various constituencies and the communication outfits, I shall implement a *"market drive"* policy to sell the policies of the party to the market women, drivers, okada riders  passengers etc.
In order to achieve this successfully, we would first and foremost maintain and draw Market Queens, Driver Union leaders, Okada Riders leadership into the NDC fraternity to enhance easy accessibility to the members. By so doing, we might reach out to all the targeted voters across the length and breadth our constituencies.

*7. LIAISE WITH FORMER APPOINTEES IN THE REGION.*
As part of my strategies to make communication very appealing and enriched with facts and figures for the consumption of the electorates through mass media communication channels, I shall bring on board all Former NDC Appointees (from District Assembly level, Ministries and Presidency) who have served in various capacities to have opportunity to interact with the public on radio periodically where electorates would be given first hand information on what we have achieved as a party that once govern this Nation and making efforts to return.
Every human resource that matters in the past (while in government) would be utilized and made relevant in the dispensation of information.

*8. LIAISE WITH CURRENT MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT*
Legislators in the region would be given the opportunity to be part of the Regional and Constituency Communication teams to ensure the electorates are educated on government business and to some extent encourage mentoring of new breed of communicators.

To this end, I humbly appeal to all delegates to *Vote Mobarak Karim (Diplomatic) as the Oti Regional Communication Officer*

Thanks.
